Notes: Three modules constitute a comprehensive course in women’s health from conception to old age. Course 111 is included. The course consists of 15 written sections, including the 5 midwives section, a further 10 test papers and a final exam. Melissa Assilem created these courses and she is the personal tutor for them.

Syllabus : Module I as above. Module II: Childhood and adolescence, becoming a mother, pediatric case taking, vaccination and childhood diseases. Child abuse, growing up, puberty and hormonal changes, menarche, etc. Module III: Womanhood, self-image, addiction, eating disorders, depression, sexuality, fertility, endometriosis, ovarian health, polycystic ovaries, breast health, vaginal health, contraception, menopause, hysterectomy, perimenopause, fibroids, menorrhagia (warming up), physical changes (taking time), endometriosis (a rite of passage), accepting and letting go, growing older, bladder health, strong heart, bones and joints, slowing down and preparing for death.
